Popular silent screen villain Sheldon Lewis apparently played the hero, a jockey, in this long-lost silent action melodrama. Winning the Big Race, on which he has staked everything he owns, Lewis is able to save the father (Maclyn Arbuckle) of his sweetheart (Dot Farley) from financial ruin. Lure of the Track was produced by its director, one Charles Makranzy, and was in all likelihood filmed years prior to its 1925 release date.
