Synopsis by Janiss Garza

This English-made drama was based on the novel by Marion Hill. Actress Georgette Verlaine (Ivy Duke) is nearing a breakdown from overwork, so Dr. John Congdon (Hugh C. Buckler) sends her to Crooning Water Farm for a rest. Because she is bored, she begins a flirtation with Horace Dornblazer (Guy Newall, who also wrote the screenplay and who was married to Duke). Dornblazer means nothing to Georgette, but he falls madly in love with her. When Georgette's manager calls her back to London for a new role, Dornblazer leaves his wife, Rachel (Mary Dibley), and follows her. Georgette firmly sends him back to his wife, but his rash action has torn the marriage apart. Rachel only agrees to stay with him for the sake of the children. Dr. Congdon lashes out at Georgette for her frivolous behavior, so the contrite actress goes to the Dornblazer home and explains everything to Rachel. Over the bed of one of their ailing children, Rachel and Dornblazer are reconciled.
