In this anime adventure, master thief Lupin has stolen a very valuable diamond during a trip to Rio, and attempts to flee Brazil by hiding the jewel in a child's toy. However, as (bad) luck would have it, the doll is soon "borrowed" by Julia, a young girl on his flight, who isn't especially interested in giving it back. Julia is from the United States, and happens to have a rather well-known father -- a high-profile politician who is running for president. If this level of scrutiny didn't already make matters difficult for Lupin, things get even hotter when a band of terrorists attack the plane.
