Synopsis by Janiss Garza

William Grogan (James Kirkwood) has a basement plumber's shop. Through his ground-floor window he falls in love with a fetching pair of feet. Later, he meets their owner, after an inheritance enables him to take a Cook's tour around the world. The girl is school teacher Ruth Warren (Anna Q. Nilsson), and she is running away from a former suitor, Norton Colburton (Ward Crane). Colburton and his cronies pursue Ruth all over the world, and Grogan is constantly rescuing her. Finally, he and Colburton come to blows in Singapore, and Grogan wins the girl. This film marked a return to acting for Kirkwood; he is better remembered as a director of films starring Mary Pickford.
