Synopsis by Jonathan Crow

Stanley Fung Shui-fa spins this affable comedy-drama about nebbish piano tuner Antonio Go Ha-chai (Alan Tam Wing-lun) who is completely in love with radio personality So See-dai (Maggie Cheung Man-yuk). While working at the home of arrogant singer Lam Shu-fu (Miu Kiu-wai), he finally gets to meet his idol in the flesh. Meanwhile, his mother decides to emigrate from Hong Kong for Canada and leaves her house to him, which happens to be haunted by the ghost of his uncle, Go San-liu (played by director Fung). Intrigued by Antonio, See-dai invites him onto her show whereupon he makes a complete ass of himself. Nonetheless, See-dai remains charmed by the lad. Hoping to help his kin onto a real career, Uncle San writes a few songs for Antonio to sell. Shu-fu buys them for a pittance and proceeds to turn them into chart toppers. See-dai soon figures out what happened and arranges for Antonio to launch a solo career. Soon, he's a big star. Unfortunately, he manages to alienate the girl he loves and Uncle San decides to join his mom in Canada.
