Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Gerry Sands (Albert Ray) has a good brain but he has been abused into passivity by his boss, Nick Barket (William Ryno). Barket is a locksmith who is a safecracker on the side, and he makes Gerry accompany him on his criminal rounds. Gerry's girlfriend Polly (Elinor Fair) wants him to assert himself and finally gets him away from his employer. But Barket has him framed for a crime and Gerry is forced to go out West to escape from the law. He finds a job on a newspaper and writes to Polly, but he never hears back from her. Finally, he comes back East, but she refuses to have anything to do with him. But when he is cleared of the crime, she realizes she misjudged him and they are reunited.
