One of the most visible temporal omissions in the New Testament centers around the middle period of Jesus's life, or roughly on his doings from his teenage years through his late twenties, a span unaddressed in the Bible. For centuries, scholars have speculated on the events of this period; some philosophers and historians have argued that Jesus took an Eastern pilgrimage at that time, visiting such exotic locales as Kashmir, India and Tibet.
