This comedy drama looks at the alienated and eternally bored members of Generation X from a slightly different perspective. The story centers on the three young people who find themselves involved in a strange menage a trois. It all begins when the charming, yet irresponsible Ian Turner returns to his Michigan hometown and takes up with his cynical ex-girlfriend Amy. It is a purely sexual union that is soon enhanced by the presence of 16-year old Heather, who has a crush on Ian. Heather is eager to explore her sexuality and soon finds herself physically involved with both Ian and Amy.
