Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Character actor George Beban had his own special niche on stage and in silent films because of his pathos-laden Italian characterizations. Here he plays Niccolo Darini, a junk dealer who finds a little boy Bob White in his cart. He takes so much joy in the child's company that he keeps him instead of turning him in to the police. Meanwhile, Kendall (Harry Barrows), a rich man, is missing his son and is offering a large reward to whoever finds him. Paolo Marso (Frank Bennett) believes the kid is with his rival, Niccolo, and turns his name into Mrs. Flint (Vera Lewis), who is conducting the search. Niccolo's little friend is taken away, but later another boy is discovered to be the Kendall heir. So the child is returned to Niccolo, along with a $5,000 check from the generous Kendall.
