Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
In this social satire, a group of Cuban aristocrats, the Orozco family, sequester themselves away from the rest of society following the Cuban revolution in order to avoid contact with its degeneracy. Ironically, their attempts to retain their "civilized" standards strand them in ever-more barbaric conditions. When their servants object, they are briefly enslaved before they finally run away. They are left at the end with little to eat and no one to serve it to them.
