Synopsis by Janiss Garza

One thing stands between Lord and Lady Algy (Tom Moore and Naomi Childers) -- his gambling habit. When he breaks his promise never to bet again, she leaves him, even though it is obvious that they still love each other. Lord Algy can't resist entering his horse in the Grand Derby; Lady Algy hears of this and also finds out that another horse in the race is far better than his. So while Lord Algy bets his whole wad on his own thoroughbred, his wife throws a big chunk of cash on the other. He loses, while she cleans up and saves his fortune. Lord Algy realizes that his wife, at least, is a winner and they reunite. This picture was adapted from a British stage play by R.C. Carlton that had made a great success twenty years earlier.
