Natural disasters, romance and tragedy combined to make this Thai family feature (starring Sombat Metanee as Han and Petchara Chaovarat as Malai) a very popular film at the time of its release. The main romantic story concerns the thwarted romance between Han and Malai, who glimpse one another just before Han is imprisoned for a long time. After his release, they understand that they have been attracted to one another, but natural disasters require that they focus their attentions elsewhere.
