Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
In this tender family drama, Lola is a single mother living in Mexico City who earns her living as a street vendor. She and the other unlicensed vendors like her must keep an eagle eye out for the police, and at the same time must try to eke out a living selling clothing irregulars. Despite that, she has a good relationship with her daughter. It's probably just as well that her rock-guitarist boyfriend went away.
