When handsome but dense Ethan Croft (Clayton Snyder) scores an 11 out of a possible 100 on a math test, the time has come for the boy to be tutored. Gordo (Adam Lamberg) is elected to help Ethan out, but Lizzie (Hilary Duff) is determined to replace Gordo so that she can be nearer to her dream boy. The ensuing "Best Tutor" war threatens to dash the long-standing friendship between Lizzie and Gordo to bits. Meanwhile, Matt (Jake Thomas) and his pal Oscar (Sebastian Jude) don homemade costumes and emerge as "superheroes" Matt Man and the Incredible Oscar, performing noble deeds throughout the neighborhood...whether anyone wants them to or not!
