Originally aired in the United States on the Sundance Channel, Live from Abbey Road affords music fans the opportunity to see some of their favorite bands perform in the legendary London studio where The Beatles recorded some of their greatest hits. Shot on 35mm film and produced by Michael Gleeson and Peter van Hooke, the series aims to have the feel of a feature film and the sound of an album. After watching the artists spend a day at the studio rehearsing and performing, fans can learn the stories behind the songs as the musicians reflect on their musical muse. Artists featured in season one include, Gnarls Barkley, Norah Jones, Iron Maiden, Josh Groban, Kasabian, Dave Matthews, and Dr. John.
