Synopsis by Nathan Southern
This gritty, no-holds-barred documentary travels to Camden, New Jersey for a profile of Lucas Torres. A 21-year-old career criminal and heavyweight in narcotic-dealing, Torres rose meteorically from low-level drug runner in the projects where he was born, to one of the most formidable cocaine distributors in South Jersey. In the process, Torres became the focal point of media attention, earned the nickname "Gato" (The Cat), and took some 32 bullets but somehow managed to survive. As directed by T. Freeman, Jr., the film tells Torres's story.
