Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

A friendly polar bear cub escapes from the clutches of some cruel animal trappers, only to find that his remarkable adventure has just begun in this nature-bound tale for the entire family. Lars has just escaped a group of ruthless hunters, but before he broke free he also made sure that the rest of the animals in captivity were released from their cages. After making the long journey home with his new brown bear friend Lea, Lars discovers that his parent have fallen ill. All hope isn't lost yet, however, because when Lea and Lars set out to retrieve the honey medicine that will get Lars' parents back on their paws their fascinating journey leads Lars across the snow line for the very first time. When Lars returns with both the medicine and a healthy newfound knowledge of the forest, he is troubled to discover that a land-locked puffin named Yuri has lost his ability to fly. Now, if Lars and his friends can just get Yuri back up in the sky where he belongs, the kindly young polar bear can finally rest easy knowing that he has done more than his share of good deeds.
