Synopsis by Sandra Brennan

In this melodrama a newspaper editor sponsors an Indochinese orphan to help his father-in-law win a seat in the Senate. They are all surprised when the orphan girl turns out to be a gorgeous Eurasian woman whom the editor promptly beds. When the woman learns that he only brought her over as a goodwill stunt, she humiliates him in public. The aspiring senator then tries to discredit the girl, and his son-in-law, feeling guilty about his actions helps him. He hopes that this will cause the girl to leave town. She does along with his son who makes a pass at her. When she resists, he tosses her out of his moving car and runs her over. Later he turns himself in. The editor then resigns and returns to his wife.
