The documentary Lionel Hampton: Jazz Legend: King of the Vibes documents the career of the jazz musician who popularized the vibraphone. His career spanned over a half-century. The documentary contains film of the performer and still photographs that help cover eras for which no motion film exists. Among the celebrities that can be seen performing with Hampton are Gene Krupa, Benny Goodman, and Betty Carter.
