Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Pretty Nina Potter (Neva Gerber) runs the local five and dime owned by her father (Johnnie Cook). When she turns down a marriage proposal, Tobias, the rejected suitor (Howard Crampton), makes arrangements with Buckman (L.M. Wells), the owner of a large chain of five and dimes, to open a store in competition with Potter's. Buckman sends his son Tommie (Herbert Rawlinson) to the town to take care of matters, but he doesn't do too well by his dad. First he gets arrested, and when Nina kindly gets him out of jail, he goes to work at her store. He helps it become a success over his father's endeavor, but eventually Buckman reconciles with him gives him and Nina his blessing.
