Synopsis by Sandra Brennan
This suspenseful thriller takes viewers on a twisting journey into a filmmaker's obsession with the mystery surrounding the 1989 death of her good friend Marie Claire. The film begins as the late Marie's distraught lover Francois undergoes a lie detector test. He was around her the night of the murder, but has no recollection of the events surrounding her death. The test results turn up inconclusive and Francois is released. The police continue to watch him carefully. Though years have passed, filmmaker Judith remains haunted by the death and decides to make a film about it. In her version, Francois is innocent and the real killer was a renegade cop. She auditions the lovely Lucie to play Marie-Claire. Afterward, Lucie is witness to a terrifying event. Each of these participants play an important role in the solving of the case. Also involved is Francois's enigmatic ex-lover Claude, the jealous daughter of a diplomat.
