Soon the money stops coming and Niko starts to believes he may be in trouble. With no money, Niko swallows his pride and resorts to selling bananas. He is then offered money by his old friend Goni Doci (Bujar Asqeriu), who has since become a powerful and corrupt gangster. After his daughter Eda (played by the director's real-life daughter Adele Budina) is kidnapped, Niko discovers that his son is feared throughout Albania.
