Filmmaker Vlado Skafar allows a number of ordinary people share their extraordinary views in this documentary. In Letter To A Child, Skafar brings a small camera crew to a village in Slovenia and asks the townspeople questions about the common but vital parts of life -- love, hope, family, joy, sorrow, the hereafter. As Skafar's subjects share their feelings and ideals, they reveal the wisdom and perception that can be found in the words of people who seem otherwise unremarkable, and as they talk to the camera they tell us about the life lessons they would pass along to a future generation. Letter To A Child was an official selection at the 2009 Rotterdam International Film Festival.
