Synopsis by Elizabeth Smith
Instructors Kathy Blake and Gene Russo carefully explain all of their footwork as they show viewers how to master the Fox Trot. Dating back to the 1920s, this dance has been a favorite among Americans who've preferred less complicated steps to go with slower songs. The Fox Trot is frequently danced at society parties and wedding receptions. After this beginner's lesson ends, Blake and Russo briefly demonstrate the Nightclub, the Tango, the Waltz, and the Jitterbug. Students may wish to note that this series offers a separate, Let's Learn How to Dance for Adults: Fox Trot: Vol. 2 video that features these same instructors teaching slightly more complicated steps.
