Two robot pilots with growing feelings for one another long for togetherness against the backdrop of a devastating intergalactic war in this mature-theme anime effort. A cocksure pilot who's eager to prove himself on the battlefield, Johnathon Tiberious soon finds himself falling for his handsome but world-weary bunkmate Leonard Schteinberg. When their brutish unit commander learns of their growing affection, he forces himself upon Johnathon in a jealous rage. Though Leonard eventually manages to rescue Johnathon from his forceful commanding officer, his act of bravery gets him shipped out to the front lines where he will most certainly meet his doom.
