The ancient legend of Theseus and the Minotaur was redefined in science fiction terms in this five-episode British miniseries. Sometime in the future, young adventurer Theodore (David Andrews) was determined to solve a mystery. None of the exploratory parties sent to the atomic planet of Mitremos had ever returned. In order to find out why and how these explorers had disappeared, Theodore embarked upon his own search of Mitremos -- and wasn't quite prepared for the surprises and shocks which awaited him. Graced with a stellar supporting cast, Legend of Death was telecast by the BBC from July 19 to August 16, 1965.
