Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Eagerly looking forward to a father and son kite-flying contest, Beaver (Jerry Mathers) and Ward (Hugh Beaumont) take great pains to build the most beautiful kite either one of them has ever seen. But the glue is not quite dry, and Ward admonishes Beaver not to fly the kite for a few days. Alas, Gilbert (Stephen Talbot) goads Beaver into a "test flight" somewhat ahead of schedule -- and sure enough, the kite breaks into a million pieces.
