Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
Because so many of the Italian "guest workers" who live in Switzerland are leftists, the train they take back to Italy in order to vote is called The Red Train. This Swiss documentary explores their situation in Switzerland, and their politics. Often living in the country for many years, perhaps even their entire adult lives, Italian guest workers in Switzerland are forbidden to bring their families to live with them.
