Synopsis by Dan Pavlides

An independent man becomes increasingly entangled in social responsibility when he marries a beautiful woman. Working when he pleases, the man (Guy Thauvette) is forced to conform when his wife (Francine Racette) desires more than her husband is able to provide. After shooting a moose out of season, he incurs the wrath of the local authorities. His brush with the law leads to bitterness, resentment and a downward spiral into a life of crime. This film appeared at the Cannes Film Festival in 1969.
