Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

The last 12 days of the band that has been called one of the most successful acts in independent music history comes to the screen in director Helmut Schleppi's intimate portrait of genre-defying rockers Dispatch. As three ambitious musicians intent on finding success on their own terms, Brad Corrigan, Pete Heimbold, and Chad Urmston mixed acoustic grooves with funk-infused jams to create a sound that was entirely original and completely their own. Frequently courted by major labels but weary of the change that would ultimately come with mainstream success, the Boston-based trio made a conscious decision to release their music independently and always stay true to their fans. With this release, the same fans that drove Dispatch to worldwide success and critical acclaim can follow along as they prepare for the final concert of their career, a performance that drew 110,000 fans from 20 countries without the convenience of either commercial airplay or formal marketing.
