Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
In this slow, clichéd story about Lars (Magnus E. Haslund), a young boy trying to improve the adult world around him in his own naive way, the era of the more innocent 1950s is evoked through visual contexts, sounds, and behavior patterns. When Lars' parents have yet another argument, he surreptitiously puts a paper cut-out heart in his father's lunchbox, but some of Lars' other well-intentioned actions do not always have the desired effect and actually get him into trouble. The evocation of a bygone era is the one major achievement in this otherwise technically uneven, conventional film.
