Synopsis by Dan Pavlides

A group of female students react to the events prompted by the fascist movement that swept through Finland in 1932. The feature is a filmed play with songs that chronicle the reactions to the changing political philosophies of the country at the time of the world economic depression. One girl is unmarried and pregnant and experiences a backlash of criticism from her so-called liberal friends. The mood of the film focuses on the national responsibility of all citizens to reject the blind political machinations that could lead to disaster, war and poverty.
