Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Eastern capitalists hire a stranger (Frank Borzage) to head out to Arizona to investigate property near the Bar C Ranch, which contains gold. The Bar C is run by Buck Moran (Jack Richardson), and he and his cowboys are a lawless bunch. They don't know about the gold, but Dave Moore does, and so does his daughter Bobbie (Anna Little), whom he dresses up like a boy. Her true gender is eventually sussed out by the stranger. When Moore is shot and killed and Bobbie is kidnapped by the Moran gang, the stranger straightens things out at the Bar C ranch in the usual Western-movie fashion -- Moran is killed and the others are shot or arrested. Bobbie is rescued, and she and the stranger head off to get married. Shortly after the ceremony they find out that her father filed a claim for the gold-bearing property, and it now belongs to her. Frank Borzage both starred in and directed this picture.
