Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
As a boy, Chaio Yen-erh (Lo Lieh) was adopted into the family of the man who killed his father, a famous kung fu artist. Though he is not allowed to practice those arts, he does so in secret and becomes quite skilled. The Lady of the Law, who prevented him from being killed at the same time as his father, eventually re-enters his life. She is probably a Taoist Immortal, for she is a legendary figure. When she comes into town looking for a man who has committed sexual crimes, she comes looking for Chiao, who was accused of having done them. He escapes and later proves his innocence to her. With her support, at long last he avenges his father's murder.
