Yelena Popovic writes, directs, and stars in this independent comedy drama centered on the experiences of an immigrant model/artist living in L.A., and the shady dealings she endures in her quest to secure U.S. citizenship. Helena (Popovic) may have the talent to succeed in the cut-throat world of show-business, but does she have the drive? With the help of her scruffy musician friend Auto (Alexander Zisiades), Helena does her best to get her green card, and carve out a career for herself in Hollywood. But in this town success doesn't come easy, and in time the shady characters Helena once trusted become her worst enemies. Perhaps with the help of her trusted friend Auto, this ambitious immigrant will summon the ingenuity to outsmart her adversaries, and ride her American dream all the way to the top.
