Synopsis by Clarke Fountain

This documentary revolves around the 1972 crash of a plane carrying the Uraguayan national soccer team in the Andes, an incident which was the basis for the best-selling novel and 1992 film, Alive, as well as the exploitation film Survive!, based on these same events. In order to stay alive, some of the 14 survivors reportedly resorted to eating the frozen remains of those who died. The crash site is shown, along with footage of the search and interviews with survivors and families of victims.
