synopsis
The Long Night of '43 is an obscure international war film set in Italy. The setting is a small village, smack dab in the middle of the thickest fighting. The villagers are forced to brace themselves as the Nazis march in, encamp, then retreat as the Americans advance. The cast is a veritable United Nations in itself: American Mark Daniels, British Belinda Lee, and Italian Gino Cervi.
