Camille Bardou and France Dhelia star in this involved romantic melodrama. Martine is the married woman who elects to spend time at her father-in-laws home when her husband Maxim is in Morocco. She takes comfort in the arms of her dancing partner Denis at a society party. The two fall in love and make plans to meet secretly in a small town where they are not recognized. Denis realizes he loves Estelle, but she refuses his proposal of marriage when she sees him with Martine. Estelle changes her mind when Denis rescues her after she faints on the railroad tracks. Martine decides to return to Maxim when she realizes Estelle and Denis are truly in love with each other.
