Synopsis by Hal Erickson

It's hard to figure out what the title of this German comedy means, but one suspects it's something along the lines of "helter skelter." Comic actor Max Adelbert goes through his standard farcical repertoire as a respectable businessman who discovers that he has an illegitimate daughter. The girl in question is a real cutie, and her amorous misadventures cause no end of embarrassment for Adelbert. The fun begins when our hero tries to hide the fact that he's the girl's father. Reviewers in 1932 were less enchanted by Kyritz-Piritz than the audiences, complaining that the plot complications -- and the characters -- were stupider than usual for a film of this nature.
