Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
This drama explores the difficulties a Polish private farmer and his compatriots have with the large cooperatives and government agencies. The farmers use government land for grazing, and rely on pilfered government supplies to continue competing against the cooperatives. Honest bureaucrats at the cooperative and in the government are distressed at this state of affairs, and try to enforce the regulations as they understand them, disrupting the balance between the communities. Understanding dawns when they meet sociably at a large celebration.
