Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Explore the rise and fall of Mikhail Khodorkovsky, who shot to the upper echelons of Russia's wealthy elite before he became one of the most high-profile political prisoners on the planet in 2003. Though Khodorkovsky was officially jailed on tax and embezzlement charges, his proponents claim that his true crime was daring to disagree with powerful Russian leader Vladimir Putin. Khodorkovsky's supporters, as well as his family, speak out about the case and accusations of rampant corruption in Russian politics.
