In the summer of 1963, President John F. Kennedy took a sentimental trip to visit Ireland. This documentary takes a nostalgic look at the Ireland of those days, including views of lovely countryside. Footage from the President's visit -- including excerpts from his speeches -- and scenes re-enacting events from Irish history are included. A tribute is also offered to the immigrants who carried Irish heritage to America.
