Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
In this mysterious film, based on a novel by Hubert Lampo which explores the legends of Orpheus in the underworld, Kasper is a man who is not quite right in the head. Once a concert pianist, for many years he has been a recluse. He leaves his retreat to look for a woman he used to love. However, he believes that he is dead, and that his search is taking him through hell, even though the landscape is clearly that of modern-day Antwerp. He finds a guide to lead him through the maze and continues his search until the final tragedy strikes.
