This series contains instruction in the art of karate. Beginning, intermediate, and advanced techniques and exercises are demonstrated by several different karate instructors. Designed for use by young people between the ages of four and 18, the exercises become increasingly more challenging. In addition to providing a vigorous workout for the body, the exercises develop focus and discipline for the young mind. Students learn to respect themselves and their opponents. They develop increased self-awareness and self-esteem by practicing this ancient martial art.
