It is said that when children play Kakurenbo, a game of hide and seek, after dark in a certain neighborhood, are kidnapped by demons. A boy named Hikora is playing despite the risk, in he hope of finding his lost sister. When he arrives at the ally where the game is set to begin, the streetlights flicker and come to life, though no one is there to light them, and the devilish game begins.
