Tsuneo Kobayashi directed this standard ghost story, heavily influenced by Italian supernatural films of the time. Sanae Nakahara plays a wealthy businessman who is murdered by his greedy relatives, only to rise from the grave and murder them one by one in an old mansion. Akira Nishimura co-stars in this atmospheric but predictable horror film, one of dozens made in Japan during the 1960s.
