Chapter 10 of Jungle Queen reveals that Bob Elliott (Edward Norris) is saved in the proverbial nick of time by Lothel, the ever-present Queen of the Jungle (Ruth Roman), who after throwing him a new rope brings news that the Nazis have taken Godac (Clinton Rosemond), the all-powerful Judge of the Tongghili Tribes, deeper into the jungle. At Jungle Jack's, the veteran game hunter (Budd Buster) tells Bob that the suspicious Lang (Douglass Dumbrille) is the safari leader for Dr. Elise Bork (Tala Birell. But Denker (Walter Bonn, Bork's assistant, is ready for Bob when he arrives and summarily shoves the American into a sealed room which is then filled with a highly visible poisoned gas.
