Although Jungle Jim (Grant Withers) and Malay Mike (Raymond Hatton) escaped the landslide by hiding under a (hitherto unseen) ledge, Joan Redmond (Betty Jane Rhodes) believes that they have perished and is easily persuaded by her evil uncle (Bryant Washburn) to return with him to New York and claim the Redmond fortune. While Jim and Mike try to get back on track, Joan, Redmond and Slade (Al Bridge) take time out to watch the ceremonial slaying of a murderous lion, National Geographic-style. The Cobra (Henry Brandon), meanwhile, sentences Joan to death and although Jim and Mike arrive just in time, they appear helpless against the marauding natives.
