Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
One of the not-so-pleasant Danish Holiday traditions is the company Christmas Lunch, an unusually ribald fete soaked in beer, schnapps and crude behavior. A group of well-known Danish comedians satirized this very Scandinavian tradition in an often hilarious, sometimes poignant farce directed in broad strokes by Finn Henriksen. The film became such a success that a sequel was warranted: Firmaskovturen (1978), which took on the yearly company picnic.
