Synopsis by Clarke Fountain

This Argentine film is basically two films in one. The first section and by far the longest, is a filmed version of the play Mrs. Blunder and Bambuco, by Maria Elena Walsh. The story concerns a couple who come into a town which has been paralyzed by taxation and oppressive government. Through a series of comic encounters, they make things happen again. The second portion of the film features Miss Walsh herself, singing songs (for adults) from her album, Let's Play in the World.
